Job Summary The Accountant I, Tax, works as part of the Corporate Tax Department to assist with the income tax compliance process and in the preparation of the tax provision work papers. Job Responsibilities Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns Maintains and updates the overpayment and refund schedules for provision and compliance. Assist with the management and resolution of notices from federal, state, and local taxing authorities. Prepares and assists with the review of estimated/extension tax calculations and vouchers and coordinates payment schedules with Accounts Payable and Cash Management. Assists with the preparation of significant book to tax adjustments. Assists in responding to questions posed by internal and external auditors. Key Skills Attention to Detail Financial Foresight Qualifications Education & Years of Experience Bachelor's Degree plus 0-2 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 4-6 years of work experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting| Preferred Additional Experience Tax or accounting experience Work Environment / Physical Requirements Work is performed in an office/home office environment. Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
